One of MKG and Old Navy’s recurring collaborations is their seasonal editors’ preview. We were asked to create a fun and vibrant space to showcase the theme behind Old Navy’s Spring 2017 collection, Live on the Bright Side.
Editors were encouraged to explore product vignettes constructed of playful scenic forms and bold graphic treatments meant to embody the optimism of Spring. Each vignette was arranged to best explain the season’s trend stories and highlight new stand-alone hero collections. An interactive display allowed guests to test the stain repellent fabric of Old Navy’s Stay White denim by tossing coffee and red wine on select pieces.
Editors left the preview with a DIY air plant terrarium, a custom screen printed tote, and plenty of cold weather swag to see them through to Spring.
